The United Way of Southwest New Mexico will be offering a free workshop, “What Is the Critical Difference Between Fundraising and Fund Development?” presented in colaboration with SCORE by Joan Kuyper.
This workshop examines the difference between short-term, quick fix and long- term fund development. Certain choices your organization makes will either wear out your volunteers on people intensive activities resulting in few dollars or gradually build your resources to build endowments and survival. Which activities raise the most income? This interactive workshop is for staff and volunteers who are raising money.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, December 17th at the UWSWNM Office at 106 S. Water Street in Las Cruces adn will begin at 10:00 am and last approximately one hour. The workshop is open to staff, volunteers and board members of any local non-profit agency and there is never a charge!
