Join members and friends for an informative meeting with program and refreshments, hosted by the HSSNM Board of Directors on Saturday, February 20 from 3-5p.m. at Encantada Park Clubhouse (1000Coyote Drive). Special guest Miguel Silva, chair of the Animal Services Center-JPA Board, will be the featured speaker.Â
Board members will present information or brief summaries of the status of HSSNM programs and services. Input and questions welcome from members and friends attending.
Please join us for a productive meeting of information exchange on this important range of issues and activity.
The Interagency Council will meet Wednesday, February 10, 2010. The meeting will last from 12 noon to 1 p.m., at the Housing Authority Conference Room, 926 S. San Pedro (west of Mesquite and south of Lohman – just west of Munson Senior Center).
The presentation will be made by Yoli Silva will lead the presentation and be assisted by Alicia Alba and Christine Werner. The LCPSS Partners in Education Program works in all areas to ensure the success fo the districts families and students from birth to grade 12.Â
This meeting is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend. All individuals present will have an opportunity to give brief presentations about their agencies or special interests. Please feel free to bring your colleagues and interested friends. It is not necessary to RSVP. Just come if you can.

The Mesilla Valley Oral History Club will meet at 5 p.m. on Feb. 4 at the Days Inn and Suites on Avenida de Mesilla. Guest speaker will be mary Salopek. Her presentation will be ” A Mesilla Valley Pioneer Family-The Salopeks. The cost is $14 and includes dinner. Reservations are required. For reservations, call (575) 524-0589 by Monday.
The Interagency Council meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the Housing Authority Conference Room, 926 S. San Pedro, from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Representatives from each agency attending have an opportunity to share current information about his/her agency.
The presentation on February 10, 2010 will be made by Alicia Alba, LCPS Partners in Education. The LCPS Partners In Education (PIE) program works together in all areas of the “PIE” to ensure the success of the district’s families and students. PIE coordinates services and efforts to serve families which include working with children and families from birth through 12th grade.
PIE incorporates seven areas:
-Â TLFP/Family Literacy
- Early Childhood Education
- Project Link Homeless Education
-Parent Involvement
- Social Services
- Parenting to better serve the community

The Healthcare Consortium will be meeting Wednesday, November 18th at 11:00 a.m. at The Village at Northrise in the Hallmark Building.
On the agenda to present is Christina Salgado, Account Manager for Evercare. Christina will present a session on Coordination of Long Term Services (CoLTS) 101. This session will give all providers more information on how this program helps to serve persons who are eligible both medically and financially for the Medicaid institutional level of care.

My name is Linda Cowan. I have been working with Caeri Thomas on the Coordinated Mobility Action Plan (CMAP), formally known as the Mesilla Valley Coordinated Transportation Action Plan (MV-CTAP). We would like to inform you that we will be having a Steering Committee meeting this month on November 12, 2009 at 3 pm at the Housing Authority on San Pedro & Arizona Ave. At the meeting we will be having a presentation on JARC funding and the many things it can be used towards.
The Steering Committee would like to extend an invitation for you to join us on Nov. 12. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about JARC funding and ask questions that you may have. If you are unable to attend but still wish to receive information, please let Caeri or I know and we will be more then happy to send you the information.
